make a wish

It’s the time of year for giving, and this Saturday you can help support children with life-threatening illnesses by taking park in the Holiday Donation Drive!

The Promenade at Chenal and the Make-A-Wish Mid-South have come together for a holiday donation drive taking place now through December 31st. Kick-off for the donation will take place during the 5th Annual Celebration of Lights event this coming Saturday, December 1st. from noon until 6:00 p.m.

This family friendly event will feature Santa and the shopping center’s new animated tree! Make-A-Wish volunteers will be on hand to accept donations from noon until 6 pm in front of the Chenal 9 Theater. The Cupcake Factory will also be there selling cupcakes and cake balls to help raise money for the Promenade’s goal of raising 5,000 to sponsor the wish of a critically ill child in Central Arkansas.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation “grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.” Since the Mid-South’s Chapter’s inception in 1986, over 4,000 wishes have been granted to children in the region. You can help further their work by taking part in this community wide event.
